Indiana Pacers: Tyrese Haliburton Reacts to Epic Game-Winner That Stunned Bucks
Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

The Indiana Pacers are in front of the Milwaukee Bucks in their first-round series in the playoffs. After losing Game 1, 109-94, the Pacers have stitched together back-to-back victories to go up 2-1 in the series. In Game 3, the Pacers leaned on the heroics of Tyrese Haliburton in the clutch, as the star point guard buried a game-winning floater in overtime to seal the deal and the 121-118 win for Indiana.

Indiana Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton Reacts to Huge Bucket in Game 3 vs. Bucks

After the game, Haliburton said: “I live for these moments,” referring to his clutch performance against the Bucks, whose backs are now pressed against the wall despite going into this series as the big favorite to win it.

“It was a really fun game and overtime, what more could you ask for?” Haliburton added, per the Associated Press (h/t ESPN). “It was a really fun atmosphere.”

Haliburton did not shoot efficiently in Game 3, as he went just 8/22 from the field for 18 points, but he made the shot that mattered the most. That shot also added to the growing momentum of the Pacers, who can dig the Bucks a deeper hole in Game 4 which will still be played in Indiana on Sunday. Plus, Haliburton did a lot more than just score, as he finished with 10 rebound and 16 assists.

Via StatMuse:

Tyrese Haliburton of the @Pacers is the first player in NBA playoff history to have a 15-assist triple-double and hit the game-winning basket in the final 5 seconds.

With the Bucks still uncertain about the status of Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard suffering an injury in Game 3, Milwaukee might be even more shorthanded in Game 4.
