Scottie Barnes is starting to make some progress, which is great news for the Toronto Raptors.
Barnes got hurt on March 1 against the Golden State Warriors and then he opted to undergo surgery to repair a fracture in his left hand.
Fast forward to March 29 and Barnes appears to be moving in the right direction with his recovery.
He was seen doing dribbling drills with both hands and put up some shots following the team’s practice per Sports Illustrated’ Aaron Rose:

It is unlikely that Barnes will play for the Raptors again this season with just two weeks left.
The Raptors also provided an update on Jakob Poeltl who also had surgery to repair a ligament tear in the fifth finger of his left hand. Poeltl was doing some on-court work but was not using his left hand yet, per Rose.
Meanwhile, Ochai Agbaji avoided serious injury after the scary fall he had on March 27 against the New York Knicks. He was doing some training but he will not be available Sunday against the Philadelphia 76ers, per Rose.
Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett are back with the team. However, there has been no official word yet on their status for Sunday’s game against the 76ers.
Quickley missed time due to a personal matter and Barrett had been away from the team following the death of his younger brother. Barrett did get in a full practice today and is working his way back to the lineup, per Rose.
Barrett has been inactive since March 12, missing the team’s last eight games as he mourned the tragic passing of his younger brother, Nathan.
He participated in practice today and spoke to the media for the first time about his brother.
